What to expect:
The Sing it like you mean it! workshop is a one-day program that brings people together to harmonize and reenergize. Using group -based and choral singing techniques, participants will learn a set of feel-good songs from a range of genres, including; pop rock, soul, gospel, indie and world.
The workshop is open to anyone over the age of 18 and welcomes total beginners, professional singers and everyone in between. You don’t have to sing by yourself or have any prior experience to take part, just a love of harmony and a sense of humor!
Singing in a group is a great way to de-stress, enhance confidence, meet new people and increase overall wellbeing. Participants of the workshop will leave feeling inspired and energized! You might be a vocal pro just wanting to blow off some musical steam or a total newbie looking for an innovative and healthy way to challenge yourself and experience a natural high. Either way The Sing it like you mean it! workshop is a fantastic way to round off your Summer and start Fall on high (and harmonious) note!

10:30 - 11:00am - Warm Up: Vocal Stretching and spirit lifting
11:00am - 12:00pm - Group Singing Session one: Pop, laughs and Rock'n' Roll
12:00 - 12:15pm - Coffee Break
12:15 - 1:15pm - Group Singing Session two: Accapella Motown
1:15 - 2:00 - Lunch
2:00 - 3:00pm - Group Singing Session three: Tunes and Grooves from around the world
3:00 - 4:00pm - Group Singing Session four: Final feel good sing along (May take place in an outdoor space, weather permitting!)
